In preparation for the African Nations Championship CHAN 2020, intermediate lions clash with Uganda
The game will be played at the Amadou Ahidjo Annex one at exactly 6:00pm. This will see both sides expecting to use the Pre_CHAN tournament to put players in the best possible conditions
Intermediate Lions of Cameroon under coach Martin Ndtoungou Mpile will serve as host for the Pre-CHAN tournament. This automatically qualified them for the CHAN 2020.
They have been drawn in group A alongside Zimbabwe, Mali and Burkina Faso. Cameroon will launch the opener of the CHAN ON January 16, 2021
Martin Ndtoungou Mpile barely 75 days in office will not want to loose this opportunity to prove his competence.
The lions have been involved in a series of friendlies producing anticipatory results 11 matches played, six wins, four draws and one defeat. This will be a chance to concretized their training.

The boys of coach Johnathan McKinstry taking along journey to Cameroon will not let go a golden opportunity as such to fine-tune tactocts for the CHAN.
A team of 38 players landed in Cameroon December 30, 2020. The team have had two training sessions in cameroom with the recent being on Thursday morning, at the Annex 2 of the Yaoundé Omnisport Stadium.
Uganda qualified to to the CHAN on a 6-0 aggregate over Burundi.
The Cranes are pitted in of the CHAN, alongside Rwanda, Togo and defending Champions Morocco.
Uganda has failed to progress past the group stages in all the editions where they have participated in the CHAN.
They open their CHAN campaign on January 18th against Rwanda in an eagerly-awaited clash of football foes.
