15 times champions of Cameroon Cotonsport of Garoua have unveiled plans to play at least seven top games in preparations for the upcoming season.
The Club plans to test their preparations for the upcoming season with games against Cameroon’s Intermediate Lions, Gabonese outfit Bouenguili Sport and Equato-Guinean duo Futuro Kings FC and Akonangui FC among others.
The Club’s ‘marathon plan’ of matches in a period of two weeks begins on October 16, in Douala against the intermediate Lions of Cameroon.
Three days later, they challenge Equatorial Guinea champions, Futuro Kings FC and Bouenguili Sport of Gabon on October 22, all in Mongomo – Equatorial Guinea.
The boys of coach Souleymanou Aboubakar return home to welcome Futuro Kings FC in Yaoundé-Cameroon on October 25.
They head to Guinea again four days later to face Akonangui FC in Ebebiyin.
The last two games in the run of matches will be at home against Cameroon second tier side Stade Bertoua on October 31 and Olympique de Meiganga on November 1.
The Cotonites are preparing for domestic and international competitions as they set out in search of a first domestic title in three seasons plus the cup of Cameroon title that has eluded them for five years and a first entry into the group stage of the CAF inter-club competitions since 2017.
The Club’s head Fernand Sadou has invested in the squad bringing in some of the best players in the land during the close season transfer window.
