Experienced forward Christian Deugoue made the difference on Monday as his side bullied Union Sportive of Douala in a pre-season friendly game in Douala.
The exciting derby went Astres’ way thanks to two goals from former UMS of Loum and Bamboutos FC Forward Christian Deugoue who tormented the Union Sportive of Douala defensive unit all afternoon.

The boys of coach Anicet Mbarga Foe emerged victorious in the fixture which is telling of their level of efforts so far.
Newly-promoted Astres continue training ahead of the 2020-2021 season, same with experienced Union Sportive of Douala under coach Towa Richard.
Both sides are a part of the 21-Clubs Cameroon Elite One season whose future hang in a balance because of the squabbles between the Cameroon football federation and its league management body.
