Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda (YOSA Team 1) and PWD (PWD Team 1) of Bamenda have played a one all tie in a preparatory match ahead of the new football season.

Just like last season, YOSA and PWD had the chance to play each other as build up to the new football season.

YOSA and PWD Bamenda started the match timidly with both sides observing each other. The first real attempt on target came the way of PWD Bamenda at the 23rd minute when new centre forward Boyomo had a shot on target but his effort was saved by goalkeeper Fuh Blaise.

Two minutes later, PWD initiated a counter attacking move,W Louiz Enjoinei Mbah picked up the ball at the edge of YOSA’s 18metres area, and went passed Fuh Essien and his cross was headed home by  Boyomo Leon to give PWD the lead.

At the 38th minute of play, PWD Bamenda benefited from a free kick and Boyomo Leon once again had an attempt on target which was saved by Fuh Blaise. The match will end 1#0 in favor of PWD Bamenda at the end of the first half.

Upon resumption of the second half, YOSA made one change and three for PWD Bamenda.

With the introduction of Christian Tsi Ngang, YOSA added more attacking flare to their game and at the 60th minute of play new comer, Fonkwa Armel equalised for YOSA.

Both teams will multiply attacking attempts but failed to concretise.
The scores will remain 1#1 at the blast of the final whistle.
In the friendly, YOSA saw the return of Roland Thierry Ngalle and Petit Fils Djamen. Former Unisport of Bafang attacking midfielder Tengemo Emmanuel also made his debut for YOSA alongside Mundi Kagawa who played last season for PWD.

For PWD Bamenda, former captain Ngi Divine returned and was captain.
