FC Niger Amazon in preparation for the forthcoming 2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide season forced GFB U-14 boys to a 2-2 draw in their latest Pre-Season friendly game on Sunday.
Elizabeth Okonkwor gave FC Niger Amazon the lead in the eighth minute before Shehu Gambo equalised for GFB FC U-14 boys.
Abu Idris put GFB U-14 boys ahead for the first time in the game, but Esther Olise’s 76th minute goal settled scores at 2-2 for both sides.
Michelle Sunday played her first game for FC Niger Amazon in the game against GFB U-14 boys.
FC Niger Amazon will battle with nine other clubs for one promotion ticket to the NWFL Championship at the Aguiyi Ironsi Sports Complex, Abuja, when the 2021 NWFL Nationwide kicks off on April 11, 2021.
Invincible Angels of Benue, Abruka Queens of Kwara State, Solo Wonders Babes of Abia State, Beautiful Tours Angels of Abuja, Osklean FC of Rivers, Crystal Stars of Bayelsa, Fortress Queens of Edo State, Umeseaka Queens of Abia, and Honey Badgers of Benue State are the other teams that will vie for one promotion ticket with FC Niger Amazon from the Abuja centre.
