The national selection of Zambia for the upcoming CHAN 2020 have had their first training session in Cameroon
The session held Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Annex 2 stadium in Yaounde
This is in preparation for the Pre-CHAN slated for January 1-7, 2021 and CHAN from January 16 to February 7, 2021
4pm marked the training session which constituted the 24-man squad of coach ‘Micho’
The Chipolopolo grabbed a ticket to Cameroon through 3-2 on aggregate despite being held to a 2-2 draw at home by Eswatini. The Chipolopolo won 1-0 in the first leg and that result ended up being the most important as it earned them a ticket to Cameroon
Zambia landed in Cameroon Thursday December 31, some few minutes after 11:00am. Via the Nsimalen International Airport, later moved to their base after completing necessary requirements.
The Chipolopolo will launch the Pre-CHAN January 2, 2020 against Niger. This tournament which involves host Cameroon Uganda and Niger will run from January 1-7, 2021
Guinea, Tanzania, and Namibia complete group D and are expected to Lodge in Limbe for the CHAN.
