National selection of Zambia and that of Niger have ended in a 3#3 game.
This was in a Pre-CHAN Mini Tournament played at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Annex1 stadium, Saturday January 2, 2021.
From kickoff, the game between the Chipolopolo of Zambia and Mena of Niger, was a very interesting one. One could see good combinations and partnering in the early start. All these were mere strategies to understand themselves and get hold of the game.
Some eight minutes in to the game, Collins Sikombe gave the lead to the Zambians. It became more interesting when 11 shirted player for Niger Ibrahim Issa came in with an equalizer within twelve minutes of play time.
The tussle and bustle continued but the chipolopolos through Moses Phiri came in to make it 2#1 in favour of Zambia. It eventually gave an end to the first segment of the game.
During the second half of the game, it became a tug of war for both Collins Sikombe who launched scores for Zambia and Ibrahim Issa who launched the score board for Niger.
The two strikers took less than 20 minutes to score a goal each making it a brace for both players and 3#2 in favour of Zambia.
At the end of the game, Niger came from behind to level scores to three all.
