Chipolopolo of Zambia have suffered first defeat from Cranes of Uganda.
Both clashed in a Pre-CHAN tournament Monday January 4, 2021 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Annex1 Stadium 4pm, urging the Zambians to a 2-0 defeat.
The ball was set rolling at the first segment of the game by Uganda. So much pressure mounted by the Ugandans who confidently commanded the Zambians
Collins Sikombe, Ssenjobe Eric for Zambia made attempts to retaliate but it all fell on loose ends. As determined as the Ugandans, good combinations, accurate passes made the way for them.
As time went on, Ssekaajugo Viane, shirt number 11 exploited loopholes created by the Chipolopolos to launched the score board through a brilliant kick.
First 45 minutes of the game was characterised by pressure mounted by both sides, corner kicks, freekicks and a misfortuned kick from Ssenjobe Eric but it ended with Zambia bowing to the Cranes 1-0.
Zambia made a timid start of the game during the first segment. The second segment was much talked about due to beautiful combinations, active passes which made it a must watch match.
Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s produced more outings and spectacular moves but could not produce any glorious finish.
It became misery for Chipolopolo when Mukwala Steven braced it up for the Cranes. This drew confirmation that Zambia’s goalkeeper was more of a threat to his team than their opponents
All attempts made became wasteful.

Zambia will face Cameroon on the 7 of January 2021 for their third game of the Pre-CHAN Mini Tournament
Uganda is drawn in group C alongside Morocco, Rwanda and Togo while Zambia has been drawn in pool D for the CHAN against Guinea, Namibia and Tanzania for January 16 to February 7, 2021
