Zambia’s Pre-CHAN 2020 selection has arrived Cameroon.
This is ahead of the Pre-CHAN2020 and CHAN 2020 tournaments in Cameroon.
The chipolopolo landed in Cameroon via the Nsimalen International Airport fews minutes after 11:00AM on Thursday, January 31, 2020.
After spending the night on transit at Addis Ababa, the 24-man squad of coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic moved to their base hours after completing required formalities.
They are expected to participate in the Pre-CHAN tournament from January 1-7 alongside host Cameroon, Niger and Uganda.
Drawn in pool D of the CHAN, coach Milutin and boys will be active in the South West region pitted against Guinea, Tanzania and Namibia.
The Chipolopolo will launch the Pre-CHAN January 2, 2020 against Niger
A total of 24 players landed in Cameroon from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka this Wednesday. Seven other players could not make the trip for varied reasons.
