The government of Poland has accepted the five-plan programme of the polish football league to commence the league by 29th, May.
Other things being equal the league will commence as planned ad the plan approved by the government as started.
The first step is to isolate players in the 16 teams in the league at home for two weeks which started on 20th April.
Training facilities will be open from 4th May for a group of six players to train.
The next step is to reopen classrooms and training facilities for clubs.
It said that teams could start full team training would begin after one week. On May 27-28, there would be testing of players, coaching staff and referees with matches to start on May 29.
The statement by the league boss said that “Each stage in the plan depends on the epidemic situation in the country and the recommendations of the Ministry of Sport and the Ministry of Health,”
The league chief, Marcin Animucki, is excited about the prospect of starting the league.
“This is excellent news. The government’s consent to resume training gives us a chance to implement the plan we have been working on for the last four weeks.”
There are 11 rounds of matches still to play. Legia Warsaw lead the table with 51 points from 26 games, eight clear of Piast Gliwice.
