As the wait for the Ghanaian Football League thickens, Ghanaian Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong has called on Ghanian football administrators to be patient and allow things to normalise.
Football activities had been suspended in Ghana in March due to the coronavirus pandemic and enthusiasts have been hitching to have football return.
The Business Tycoon however declares that football fans cannot love football more than the president Nana Akuffo-Addo.
“We know they (football people) want football to return but please wait, because you don’t like football more than president Akuffo Addo” – Kennedy Agyapong told Atinka Sports.
“You can wait till maybe September or October when everything is cool then you start your football” – He added.
The parlimentarian further revealed to Ghanaian journalist Benji Defloman why he will not be investing in Ghanaian football.
Dansoman-based entrepreneur says he will not invest in football or any football club in Ghana, because is not the kind of business that will give him money.
“Football business in Ghana is really hard and can’t let my money go waste just like that.”
The controversial politician who represents New Patriotic Party in Assin North Constituency celebrated his 60th birthday a week ago.
