Two weeks after offficials of FECAFOOT requested for additional 14 days to put all in place and bring lasting solutions to issues of players unpaid salaries and bonuses concerning players of 24 Cameroonian clubs, there has been uneasy calm.
kick442.com has gathered that there will be a deadline day meeting of members of the Faustin Domkeu led Ad-hoc Committee this Tuesday in Yaounde beginning 10:00 with the objective of finalizing their report expected by FECAFOOT boss Prince Seidou Mbombo Njoya.
Our sources have hinted that SYNAFOC related committee members have not received invitation for the March 19 meeting thus casting doubts over the credibility of the report that may be produced after this final meeting.
SYNAFOC,a National footballers Syndicate led by former international footballer Geremi Njitap brought up the issue of unpaid salaries after an investigation and has since then been keen on having the listed clubs on the debtors list pay their players.
As at midnight of Monday March 19 the ad-hoc committee’s secretary plus two members going by the names;Bassega Daniel, Lucien Metommo and Jacques Marcel Itiga all of SYNAFOC were not yet officially informed of the holding of the said meeting.
It remains to be seen how things will unfold this Tuesday and how FIFA that had demanded a report since March 4 finally reacts when they get one from FECAFOOT.
