Plateau United of Jos on Wednesday departed the shores of Nigeria for Tanzania for it second leg preliminary match of the CAF Champions League.
Nigerian journalist, Adepoju Tobi Samuel reports a 45-man contingent of Plateau United have left for Dar Es Salaam to face Simba Sports Club of Tanzania in the return of the first round preliminary fixtures of the CAF Champions League.
The team is made up of twenty players, technical crew, management and other major stakeholders.
The team is expected to start their journey from Abuja where they are expected to board a flight to Lagos before taking another flight to Tanzania through Addis Ababa.
It is also reported that Bernard Ovoke will miss the game due to illness while the goalkeeper, Chinedu Anozie is still out due to injury.
The match which comes up on Saturday 5th December will see the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) leaders in the 2019/2020 season try to overturn a goal deficit after losing by a goal to nil at the New Jos Stadium in the first league.
