Mees Palace Women’s team showed a strong intention of a champion as the Lynxes which they are also known, got their campaign off in style in the maiden Plateau State Female Football Competition as they defeated Vision Fc 3-0.
Drawn in Group B of the competition, the team who are playing their first competition this year took less than three mins to get off the mark as Daniella Lot put the team ahead with a well taken effort after Faith Okiriemen had laid the ball on the plate for her.
Moments later, Joyce Ibokwe doubled the lead for the team after some smart interchange with Lot down the right flank. Daborah Okoroafor made it three one minute later.
The team will square up against Tin City Queens in their second group game on Saturday.
