The Pius N’Diefi multipurpose sports complex, has been inaugurated in Nouzonville, in the Ardennes department in northern France. The event took place on Wednesday July 13, in the presence of the former indomitable lions forward.
The multipurpose sports complex build by the Nouzonville community, has been named after the former footballer, in honor of his services for Ardennes club side CS Sedan Ardennes.
47_year_old Pius Sielenu N’Diefi, played for CS Sedan between 1996_2003, scoring 48 goals in over 187 appearances. His dedication and services to the club and the entire Ardennes community, has definitely not gone unnoticed, as the sports infrastructure in the city will now bear his name.

“Happy to have inaugurated the Pius N’Diefi field today in Nouzonville,” Florian Lecoultre, mayor of the city of Nouzonville wrote on Twitter.
“A golden guy, always humble despite an exceptional career. There were a lot of people earlier but no one left without a photo or a dedication. Thanks Pius,” he added.
The two times African champions had a blistering career, which saw him represented over 10 clubs between 1992 and 2012.
