Players and Technical Crew of Kano Pillars Football Club are set for the preliminary round second leg of 2020/2021 CAF Confederations Cup encounter with ASC Jaraaf FC of Senegal tomorrow at Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna.
According to the Media Officer of the club Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, the players are in high spirit and very much ready to play the game.
“Based on what is on ground and from the reactions of the players in the camp, there is hope that the team will overturn the deficit of two goals conceded in Senegal. The team will score goals tomorrow.” Malikawa said.
He further assured fans that all necessary arrangements have been made by Nigeria football federation and their host State FA, Kaduna State Football Association for a successful match.
Kano Pillars lost the first leg by 3 goals to 1, and are expected to win win at least 2 unreplied goals if they are to progress to the next stage.
The match will kick off 4pm local time tomorrow and will be played under closed doors as directed by CAF.
3 of Kano Pillars players Emmanuel Anyanwu, Achibi Nwenike and Victor Dennis will not be dressed for tomorrow’s match due to minor injuries. The remaining 22 players are in good shape and ready for the game tomorrow.
ASC Jaraaf FC of Senegal are expected in kaduna tonight.
