Gabon and Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has donated the sum of Eighty Millions FCFA to support the fight of the deadly CoronaVirus pandemic in his country.
The 30-year-old forward’s entourage has confirmed he has joined the rest of footballers in the industry to support the fight against the Covid-19.
The Gabon International has scored 20 goals in 32 games in all competitions this season.
His actions this Tuesday adds to the memorable moments he has offered his compatriots having scored 20 goals in 50 appearances for country.
Gabon registered it’s first casualty due to the virus last weekend and has joined other countries around the world in implementing multiple measures to reduce or completely avoid the spread of the virus.
Aubameyang joins the likes of Lionel Messi,Christian Bassogog, Cristiano Ronaldo, Roger Federer and other Athletes who have supported the fight against Covid-19 financially.
