Accra Hearts of Oak has terminated the contract of Charles McCarthy just a year and six months after he joined the Phobia family.
The former Elmina Sharks sensational midfielder joined the rainbow team on January 8, 2019 on a free transfer when Kim Grant was at the helm of affairs.
Unfortunately, Charles could not feature much in competitive matches for the side due to injury.
Charles McCarthy was a key figure in the squad that qualified Elmina Sharks into the Ghana Premier League four years ago.
Accra Hearts of Oak has also terminated the contract of one other player, Emmanuel Mintah while three others have been loaned out.
The Players going on loan are;
Bernard Arthur (Olympics)
Dominic Eshun (Karela)
Christopher Bonney (Inter Allies)
Meanwhile, the continental club masters have earned the signature of five new players in the second window of the 2019-2020 season to strengthen the team ahead of the second round of the season after the eradication of the deadly pandemic, Covid-19.
