As a part of their preparations for the upcoming season, Cameroon Elite One outfit Bamboutos FC of Mbouda have completed the acquisition of 20-year old Cameroonian winger Philip Arthur Banen.
The former Union Sportive of Douala winger returns to the Cameroon Elite One championship less than a year after he left for Rwandan side AS Kigali.
Benen struggled to leave a lasting impression in the Rwandan Premier League with very limited game time and the multiple Covid-19 imposed breaks but is expected to hit the ground running in Cameroon where he has a ready-made reputation as a promising star.
