The former Editor of the L’Economie newspaper Parfait Awono Nicolas Siki, has submitted his resignation letter as director of communications, at the Cameroon Football Federation this afternoon.
His resignation was long predicted as it was evident, he will likely be shown the door by the new FA boss Samuel Eto’o. Parfait Siki was a henchman to former Fecafoot President, Seidou Mbombo Njoya.
Parfait Siki has been within the ranks of FECAFOOT since 2018, and recently served as interim secretary General, following the suspension of Banlock Benjamin by former FECAFOOT president, Seidou Mbombo.
Siki had replaced Benjamin Banlock cumulatively with his duties as Director of Communications, but recently went back to his duties as head of Communication, when newly elected FECAFOOT president Samuel Eto’o Fils, brought back Benjamin Banlock as Secretary General.
It is understood Parfait Siki’s resignation letter was submitted to his hierarchy on Tuesday.
Both Siki and FECAFOOT are yet to make an official statement on the matter.
