The pairings for the inaugural edition of the Njie Clinton end of year festival have been made public. The Festival is expected to run from December 23 to 27 with just two semi-finals and a final, with all the games taking place at the Buea Town Green Municipal Stadium.
The winner of the tournament is expected to go home with FCFA 1 million, while the runner-up gets FCFA 500,000.
Great Soppo, Molyko and Bonduma will form a team. Buea Town and Bokwaongo will form another team. Small Soppo,Tole, Long Street and Clerks Quarters will come together to form one team while Bomaka, Muea and Mile 16 will constitute another team, making a total of four teams to participate in the competition.
The first semi-final that comes up December 23 will see Small Soppo, Great Soppo, Federal Quarters versus Buea Town and Bokwango.
Semi-final two comes up the next day, December 24 with Molyko and Bonduma versus Mile 16 and Bomaka. The competition takes a break for the Christmas festivities, to resume on Sunday December 27 with the third place game and the final of the competition.
The competition will feature a football tournament, charity and a press conference is a way of Njie Clinto who plays for CSKA Moscow in Russia is “a way of giving back to my community and also to celebrate the end of the year with my fans that have been very supportive in my highs and lows.”
“I’ll like to see my brothers again after so many years, and most importantly I wanted an all-inclusive tournament with four teams. These four teams represent the four professional clubs I have represented and still represent which include Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique Marseille, Tottenham and Dynamo Moscow,” Njie Clinto told journalists with respect to the merging of areas to forma team.
A cash prize of FCFA 2,000,000 will be up for grasp plus other accompanying gifts. Jerseys is expected to be provided to the four teams by the promoter of the football festival.

Runners Up: FCFA 500,000
3rd place: FCFA 250,000
4th place: FCFA 150,000
Top scorer: FCFA 20,000
For the Man of The Match Award in each of the four games, the player is expected to bag home FCFA 20,000 each.
