David Pagou, head coach of PWD of Bamenda, has expressed his frustration following the defeat of the Abakwa Boys three nil by local rivals Yong Sports Academy.

“Nothing has worked today, it was a terrible match for us, we are going to prepare hard for the next match. We wanted to use this match to prepare for the encounter against Coton. We are confused, very confused because nothing worked for us today. We have to calm down and concentrate to prepare for next match against Coton”, coach David Pagou said.

The head coach wanted to use the battle against YOSA to prepare hard for their rival at the top of the league, Coton Sport FC that they will play against on home soil this Wednesday.

The “block team” he is building which he used against UMS to record a 2 nil Victory during match day 21 in Loum didn’t work on YOSA.
To him nothing worked thus the club has to calm down and concentrate and device other strategies to face the Coton weavers.

During the derby in Bamenda, YOSA dominated in ball possession and shots off and on target.

Pagou and his boys will have to work “harder” if they have to make it to the top. The tactics employed and formation will have to be revised to avoid the 5 nil defeat recorded during match day 6 in Garoua.

The league table now stands with
Colombe 39 points
Cotonsport 38 points
PWD 36 points.

YOSA now has 30 points at the 8th place on the league table.
