American-Nigerian midfielder cum forward, Antionette Oyedupe Payne (Toni Payne) scored her second league goal of the season for Spanish Primera Division Women’s side, Sevilla in the course of their 1-3 away win over Eibar on Sunday.
Payne scored Sevilla’s second goal of the game in the 51st minute after Carla Armengol had given her side the lead in the additional minutes of the first half
South Africa’s Thembi Kgathlana pulled a goal back for the host in the 80th minute before Albarran Jimenez’s goal in the 91st minute took the game out of the reach of the home team.
Oyedupe Payne saw 90 minutes of action for Sevilla, while Nigeria’s Adule Charity replaced Arene Altonaga in the 84th minute.
Sevilla occupied the eighth position on the Spanish Primera Division Women’s league table with 27 points in 19 games.
Eibar on the other hand occupied the 10th position on the league table with 21 points from 17 games.
