29 years old former Union of Douala and Aigle de la Menoua midfielder turned striker is in the form of his life in the Saudi Arabian professional top flight league. He currently tops the goal scorers log in Saudi Arabia with 18 goals, one more than Franco Senegalese striker Bafetimbi Gomis of Al Hilal. The native of Yaounde who joined Al Taawoun FC currently ranked 4th in the Saudi top flight helped his side to an emphatic win against Al Ittifaq on the 22nd day of play with a hat-trick. Abdulfatah Adam opened the scoring for the home side at the 6th minute at the King Abdullah City Sports Centre, before Tawamba doubled their lead at the 37th minute from the penalty spot, his fifth goal from the spot this season. The Eding Sports and Jeunesse Stars of Yaounde youth product then gave his side a three goals cushion when Abdulfattah Adam turned provider. Algerian International Ahmed Akaichi pulled one back for the visitors but his international teammate Rais Mbohli in goal  could not prevent the in-form Cameroon striker from grabbing a third
at the 79th minute of the game. Coach Pedro Emmanuel’s side are now on a run of five games unbeaten with four wins and a draw. While the Luanda born 44 years Portuguese coach knows he can count on his Cameroonian striker for goals, he is very certain that though currently fourth on the log with 39 points a title challenge is unlikely as league leaders Al Hilal Riyadh are on 52 points with a game at hand.
