Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala has been medically cleared to play for her Spanish Primera Iberdrola after recovering from an injury.
The former FC Robo Queens forward returned to training recently with the European Champions as she was recuperating from her injury.
Oshoala last played for FC Barcelona Femeni on November 10, 2021, during her side’s 4-0 win over Hoffenheim in the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage.
She was replaced by Ana-Maria Crnogorčevic in the 63rd minute after a knock.
The medical clean bill is a piece of good news for Barcelona ahead of its first game of 2022 against Roosa Ariyo’s Granadilla Tenerife on Saturday, January 8, 2022, in the Spanish Primera Iberdrola.
It will also come out as a piece of cheering news to Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum ahead of the team’s final round of Qualifiers for the 2022 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) against Ivory Coast.
