Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala has been nominated for 2020 UEFA Fans’ Team of the Year, www.kick442.com reports.
The Barcelona forward was part of 50 female footballers nominated by fans for the first UEFA Women Fans’ Team of the Year.
Powerful and sometimes unplayable forward with unerring eye for goal, Oshoala was a free-scoring forward in FC Barcelona’s 2019-2020 Spanish Iberdorla title win either upfront alone or partnered with Jenni Hermoso.
She has scored two goals this season for Barcelona after scoring 20 goals in 19 league games to help her side to the league title last season.
Five goalkeepers, 15 defenders, 15 midfielders, and 15 forwards were shortlisted for the 2020 UEFA Women Fans’ Team of the Year.
