Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala opened her goal account in the 2020-2021 Spanish Iberdrola season as FC Barcelona secured a 0-6 away win over Sporting De Huelva on Sunday.
The four-times CAF Women’s Player of the Year winner scored the first goal of the game in the fifth minute at the Campo Federativo de la Orden.
Kheira Hamraoui doubled Barcelona’s lead in the eight-minute while Alexia Putellas made it 3-0 before the interval.
After the interval, Mariona Caldentey increased Barcelona’s lead to four in the 55th minute.
Caroline Graham Hansen added to Huelva’s injuries with the fifth goal in the 76th minute before Bruna Vilamala completed the rout in the 78th minute.
Oshoala played for 68 minutes before she was replaced by the scorer of Barcelona’s sixth goal, Bruna Vilamala.
FC Barcelona occupied the first position on the Spanish Iberdrola table with a maximum of nine points from three games. They will play Real Betis in their next game on November 1.
