Super Falcons captain, Asisat Lamina Oshoala scored her eighth goal of the season for Barcelona as her Spanish Primera Division side defeated Sevilla 6-0 on Saturday, www.kick442.com reports.
Oshoala was introduced by Lluis Cortes in the 46th minute as she replaced Caroline Graham Hansen.
The four-time African Player of the Year winner scored Barcelona’s fourth goal in the 67th minute. She went on to assist Aitana Bonmati for Barcelona’s fifth and sixth goals in the 73rd and 75th minutes respectively.
Alexia Putellas scored the opening goal of the game at the Estadi Johan Cruyff (Sant Joan Despí) in the 11th minute.
Jenni Hermoso doubled their lead from the penalty spot seven minutes later.
Caroline Graham Hansen made it 3-0 for the Catalan side in the 45th minute before Oshoala’s magic helped her Club with three goals (one goal and two assists).
The former RC Robo Queens and Rivers Angels forward have scored seven goals in the league this season and one goal in the UEFA Women’s Champions League against PSV.
FC Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the 2020/2021 Spanish Primera Division season.
They will play Deportivo in their next game on December 22, 2020.
