Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala opened her goal account for the year as she scored two goals for her Spanish Primera Division Women’s side, FC Barcelona in the course of their 7-0 thrashing of Rayo Vallecano.
Asisat scored Barcelona’s third goal of the game in the 15th minute at the Estadi Johan Cruyff (Sant Joan Despí).
She scored her second and Barcelona’s fifth goal in the 59th minute.
Oshoala who recently lost her stepmother dedicated her first goal to her when she unveiled her t-shirt under her jersey.
Jenni Hermoso scored the opening goal of the game for Barcelona in the fourth minute.
Alexia Putellas doubled their lead in the 11th minute before Oshoala’s goal made it 3-0.
Alexia Putellas scored her second and Barcelona’s fourth in the 40th minute before Oshoala made it 5-0.
Mapi Leòn scored the sixth goal of the encounter for the host in the 73rd minute before Aitana Bonmati rounded up the goals in the 91st minute.
FC Barcelona is yet to drop any point in the league this season and the Lluis Cortes side will play the same opponent, Rayo Vallecano on January 24, 2021.
