European and Spanish Primera Iberdrola Champions, FC Barcelona will announce shortly the renewal of Asisat Oshoala’s contract according to a reliable source in Catalonia.
According to the source, the club and the Nigerian have reached an agreement to extend her contract that will expire this June.
There has been speculation linking Oshoala with moving away from Spain at the end of her current contract, but the latest development will see the 27-year-old Super Falcons of Nigeria forward stay longer than this season at the Catalan side.
Oshoala has scored 19 league goals in 16 games for FC Barcelona Femeni this season.
She joined the club in the 2018/2019 season scoring seven league goals in the seven matches before she bagged a permanent deal with the Spanish side.
The former FC Robo Queens player is currently out injured from the bicep femoris of her left thigh.
