Reigning Cameroon women’s Badminton champion Akoumba Ze Madeleine beat Abamba Maeva Princia two sets to nothing ( 21-5, 21-7)
to emerge winner of the women’s single Open du Grande Concour on Saturday.

The teenage rising star ruthlessly defeated her rivals who gave her little of a threat with her excellent top-class display.

The two day pre-tournament competition is aimed at evaluating the level of preparedness of team Cameroon who are presently in camp ahead of the International Badminton competition in Cameroon.

The competition which will bring together 20 countries will
run between November 14-17,2019 at the Multi-purpose Sport Complex in Yaounde.

The 16-year-old Champion crushed her opponents empathically with a net domination in all her games.

She ruthlessly beat Guefack Laeticia by two sets nothing ( 21-5,21-7) in her opening game and produced a five star performance against Mbida Mbida Louise Reine ( 21-4&21-10) to reach the final which she won with relative ease.

Akoumba Ze Madeleine is just returning from the Internationaux du Bénin where she believes has been a plus for her as part of her build up to the November international event.

She has also taken part in 4 top ranked international competitions in her close to 6 years career.
