Super Falcons forward, Desire Ugochi Oparanozie was on target for her French D1 Archema side, DFCO Dijon on Sunday after scoring two goals for them a day earlier, www.kick442.com can report.
A day after recording a 2-1 win over Standard de Liège, DFCO Dijon faced fellow French D1 Archema side, Stade de Reims, at the lawn of Phalsbourg (Moselle) where Oparanozie and her Dijon side snatched a late 2-2 draw.
Stade de Reims had a 2-0 via goals from Darya Kraverts in the 40th minutes and Lena Goetsch in the 51st minute before Dijon was able to muster a fightback in the second half thanks to the first goal from Rose Lavaud off Inès Barrier assist.
Désiré Oparanozie then equalised for Dijon in the last seconds of the game to salvage a 2-2 draw for her club.
After scoring against Standard Liege on Saturday, Oparanozie has now scored three goals in three pre-season matches for Dijon since joining the French side from Guingamp.
Dijon’s Manager, Yannick Chandioux draws a positive assessment of what he saw during this weekend: “Reims offered better opposition than the day before, it was more difficult. It’s good to have come back to score. We conceded and got quite a few chances. We continue to move forward, I am very satisfied with these two days in Phalsbourg.” The gaffer told www.dfco.fr after the 2-2 draw.
