Nigeria forward, Desire Ugochi Oparanozie was on target for her French side, DFCO Dijon as they defeated Chiamaka Nnadozie’s Paris FC on penalties in the Round of 16 of the Coupe de France.
Désiré Oparanozie finds herself alone against three Parisians in the 67th minute, she overtakes them all and finds herself facing the goalkeeper, Nnadozie. She takes her chance and scored the equaliser for Dijon.
Sallstrom had initially given Paris FC the lead in the 28th minute before Oparanozie’s equaliser.
After standing out, Sh’nia Gordon passes to Oparanozie who strikes in the ninth minute. Her shot hits the near post.
On a cross from Barbance, Oparanozie resumes with a header a minute later which goes just above the goal.
Seven minutes from full time, Désiré Oparanozie finds herself once again facing the Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal for Paris FC. She takes her chance but Nnadozie pushes back her shot.
Oparanozie’s equaliser took the game into the lottery of penalties where Dijon emerged victoriously, 4-2 on penalties.
Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie was behind the sticks for Paris FC throughout the game as her Club crashed out of this season’s Coupe de France.
Desire Oparanozie on the other hand also featured for Dijon and received a yellow card in the 76th minute for her troubles.
