Nigeria forward, Desire Ugochi Oparanozie had an assist for her French D1 Archema side, DFCO Dijon as they defeated Le Havre 2-0 on Saturday.
In a beautiful but very empty Stade Océane, Yannick Chandioux’s players had a 2-0 victory over Le Havre.
The Reds dominated the start of the match against the Red Lantern and will logically open the scoring.
Sh’nia Gordon goes alone past Kristjansdottir before dribbling Picaud for Dijon’s opening goal of the game in the 18th minute.
The Dijonnaise drove the point home a few seconds later with a goal from Solène Barbance. At the end of great collective action, Désiré Oparanozie from the left side put a pass across to the former Bordeaux woman at the entrance of the area. Oparanozie played for the duration of the game as she has scored three league goals with five assists for Dijon this season.
Her last league goal was on March 13, 2021, during Dijon’s 3-1 win over Fleury 91.
Dijon occupied the eighth position on the French D1 Archema league table with 23 points in 18 games.
They will be on the road at Reims in their next encounter on April 17, 2021.
