German Bundesliga Women’s side, Turbine Potsdam have signed Nigerian defender, Onyinyechi Zogg from French D1 Arkema club,
ASJ Soyaux.
Onyinyechi Zogg will replace Lara Schmidt who joined FC Basel.
Zogg who joined Soyaux from Zurich ahead of the 2021/2022 season has played eleven league games for the French side.
She becomes the second Nigerian player in the German Bundesliga Women’s league after SC Sand’s Patricia George.
The Swiss-born Nigerian player has played for BSC Young Boys, Femina Kickers Worb, FC Bethlehem, and Zürich in Switzerland.
Zogg, 24, made her senior debut for Nigeria on 10 June 2021 in a 0–1 friendly loss to Jamaica.
