Nigeria midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi opened his goal account for his Lithuania A Lyga side, Zalgiris in the course of their 5-1 victory over Dainava Alytus on Friday.
Ogenyi Onazi scored the opening goal of the game which was his first goal for Zalgiris since joining them as a free agent after his short stay at Sonderjyske.
Francis Kyeremeh doubled Zalgiris’s lead in the 28th minute at the LFF Stadionas (Vilnius).
In the second half, Mantas Kuklys made it three for the host in the 61st minute.
Three minutes later, Francis Kyeremeh scored his second goal of the game to make it 4-0.
Hugo Videmont completed the goals for Zalgiris before Said Hamulic pulled a goal back for the visitors.
Onazi saw 82 minutes of action before he was replaced by Vilius Piliukaitis.
Zalgiris occupied the fourth position on the league table with 18 points from nine games.
They will travel to play Nevezis Kedainiai on May 4, 2021, in their next encounter.
