Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Royal Mouscron’s midfielder Jean Junior Onana reward his trainer’s trust during this Wednesday’s Belgian Jupiler Pro League clash pitting Royal Mouscron to Cercle Brugge away at Brugge.
The match-day 11 fixture at the Jan Breydel Stadium started with two Cameroonians; Fabrice Olinga and Jean Onana on the pitch.
Mouscron displayed character in the encounter they looked second best all along scoring twice in the final exchanges to win all points on offer.
Both sides failed to get a goal in the first segment but the game opened after the break.
Teenager sensation Anthony Musaba gave the visitors the lead in the 64th minute.
The goal obliged Mouscron to open their game and push for an equalizer.
Nine minutes before the end of regular time connected with veteran Argentine center-back Matías Agustín Silvestre who scored the equalizer for the visitors.
Harlem Gnohéré won it for visiting Royal Mouscron in the 87th minute from a perfectly dispatched spot-kick to make it 2-1.
The game ended on the same score with Onana and Olinga lasting the duration though the former was booked in the 30th minute.
The win is the Club’s first of the season and takes their points tally to six points in 11 games this season.
The Club host leaders Club Brugge in their next league game on Saturday.
