24-year-old Cameroon international shot stopper Medjo Simon Loti Omossola is about extending his stay with Congolese side AS Vita Club for the next two to three years.
The sensational gloves man who spent the last two seasons at the club as reported arrived Congo’s capital Kinshasa earlier this week to reach an agreement with officials of the club.
“I arrive in Kinshasa on Wednesday 17 August. A verbal agreement has already been found. I am in permanent contact with the president Bestine,” Simon Omossola told Footrdc.com.
“We are currently groping for an extension of 2 to 3 years,” he added.
The former Cotonsport of Garoua’s lad has been of great help to the club playing as a sticks’ man since joining AS Vita during the 2020 football season.
Simon Omossola is a talented Cameroonian goalie who played for Sixteen times champions of Cameroon Cotonsports of Garoua between 2015-2020. The 1.88m tall goalkeeper represented the colours of Cameroon in the U-20 and 23 category and was later called up to feature for the National selection.
Omossola was preselected by coach Clarence Seedorf in 2019 for the 2019 AFCON and featured for the lions’ squad during the 2021 AFCON staged at home.
