Potential Indomitable Lions and former Manchester City midfielder Olivier Ntcham is heavily-linked with a move to Greek top-flight side AEK Athens.
The 25-year old French born, Cameroon-eligible midfielder spent last season on loan at Marseille and struggled for form and game time thus pushing Marseille to ignore the option to make the move permanent.
Ntcham has returned to the to Scotland but unfortunately, he is not in the plans of the current Celtic staff.
A move elsewhere seems the only way and now Greek media says AEK are close to agreeing a deal for the player to become one of their own.
The erstwhile Paris FC, Le Havre and Genoa box-to-box midfielder had a call up to the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon camp in November 2019 but he didn’t honor the invitation causing the coach to add his name to that of players on standby.
The three time Scottish League champion and double domestic cup winner is certainly done with business at Celtic Glasgow and looking elsewhere.
Talks are well advanced and terms nearly settled as his permanent departure from Celtic gets closer than ever before.
