Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Olivier Michel Kemen scored in his side’s 2-1 win at home.
FC Niort scored twice in the first segment through Ibnou Ba in the 40th minute and Olivier Kemen on the struck of half-time to take a two-nil advantage to the break.
M. George halfed the deficit in the 59th minute of the game but Niort with another Cameroonian Guy Marcelin Kilama defended well till the end of the game keeping a 2-1 score.
The game was Kilama’s 21st this term while Kemen made his 24th appearance from which he has scored four goals and provided two assists.
Kemen, Kilama and Yongwa Darling who missed the game are eligible for Cameroon but remain uncapped.
Niort are 12th on the log ahead of their trip to Gronoble next Saturday.
