One of Cameroon’s finest stadium, Olembe Stadium, located in the political capital of the country_Yaounde,will be ready in three months.
According to Alex Starnino Vice President of the construction company Magil, the pitch will available for use in three months.
“The stadium will be able to host any match in three months. The changing rooms are almost ready.”

Magil is a Canadian construction company which is in charge of constructing Agricultural Buildings, sports and leisure buildings, industrial buildings and more. Magil took over the construction of the stadium from Italian company Gruppo Piccini S.A.
Cameroon’s Olembe sports complex is located in the northern part of Yaounde. It is named after Cameroon’s president Paul Biya.
The 60,000 seater facility is all covered and includes two training stadiums, with 1,000 seats each, a gymnasium, handball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, an Olympic swimming pool, a five star hotel with 70 rooms, a shopping mall, a museum and a cinema.
The stadium covers 34 hectares, and upon completion it will be the largest amongst all stadia in Cameroon, the second largest in West Africa, ninth largest in Africa, and tied for tenth largest in Africa after the completion of the Grand Stade de Casablanca in 2025.
The Olembe Stadium will serve as host for both the opening and closing ceremonies of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations in 2021.
