Muyiwa ‘Benito’ Olabiran and Brown Ideye assisted their Clubs to victory in Ukraine and Turkey respectively at the end of Saturday round of fixtures across Europe, can report.

In the Ukraine Premier League, Muyiwa ‘Benito’ Olabiran provided two assists on his debut to lead Olimpik Donetsk to a comfortable 1-3 away win over Dnipro. One of his assists resulted in Maxime Do Couto Teixeira scoring Olimpik Donetsk’s second goal in the 47th minute at the Dnipro Arena, Dnipropetrovs’k.

Olimpik Donetsk currently occupied the seventh position on the league table with three points from two games.

Elsewhere in the Turkish Super Lig, 2013 African Cup of Nations, AFCON winner, Brown Ideye also had an assist in his competitive debut for Goztepe as they defeated Denizlispor 5-1 on Saturday. Ideye assisted Marcio Mossoró for Göztepe’s fourth goal in the 50th minute.

The victory gave Göztepe an early leadership position on the league table with three points and superior goal difference from their first league game in the 2020-2021 league season.
