Super Falcons duo of Ngozi-Okobi Ekeoghene and Halimatu Ayinde has qualified for the final of the 2020/2021 Svenska Cupen (Swedish Cup) after their Swedish Damallsvenskan side, Eskilstuna United defeated Umea 2-4 in the semi-final on Saturday at the Umea Energie Arena.
Loreta Kullashi scored the opening goal for Eskilstuna United in the 26th minute before Rosita equalised for Umea ten minutes later.
Kaisa Collin put Eskilstuna United ahead for the second time in the game in the 52nd minute.
Felicia Rogic’s penalty in the 58th minute took the game out of Umea’s reach.
Alexandra Sandstrom pulled a goal back for Umea before Fanny Anderssen made it 2-4 in favour of Eskilstuna United.
Halimatu Ayinde played for 52 minutes before she was replaced by Linn Vickius.
Amanda Nilden replaced Ngozi-Okobi Ekeoghene in the 70th minute.
Eskilstuna United will play the winner of the semi-final clash between Hacken and Rosengard in the final.
