Super Falcons defender, Osinachi Ohale scored her first goal for Spanish Primera Division Women’s side, Madrid CFF as they suffered a 2-4 defeat to Granadilla Tenerife on Saturday.
Ohale scored the first goal of the game in the 16th minute to give her side the lead.
Clare Murphy Pleuler equalised for Granadilla Tenerife in the 44th minute after Ohale had received a yellow card in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, Cristina Martin-Prieto Gutierrez gave the visitors the lead for the first time in the 47th minute.
Clare Murphy Pleuler scored her second goal of the game in the 63rd minute after another Super Falcons player, Rita Chikwelu had received a yellow card in the 62nd minute.
Amanda Frisbie pulled a goal back for Madrid CFF in the 73rd minute before Cristina Martin-Prieto Gutierrez’s second goal of the game ended the contest.
Rita Chikwelu played for the duration of the game while Osinachi Ohale was replaced by Paula Gutierrez in the 88th minute.
Madrid CFF is one place outside the UEFA Women’s Champions League spot on the Spanish Primera Division Women’s league table as they occupied the fourth position, 48 points from 24 games, and two points behind third-placed Real Madrid.
They will be on the road at Valencia in their next encounter on April 18, 2021.
