Former Ibom Angels gaffer, Ogbonda Whyte has resigned his duties as coach of Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, Confluence Queens hours to their week six fixture against Delta Queens on Wednesday.
Ogbonda Whyte in a chat with www.kick442.com says his resignation can be linked with the recent situations of things at the Club including players’ protest, welfare, and disbandment of the Club management which has made the environment to be un-conducive.
The coach is the most successful manager at the Club after leading Confluence Queens to the NWFL Premiership Super 4 in 2019 where they narrowly lost the league title to Rivers Angels after a slim 1-0 defeat.
The Kogi-based Club has won two games, drawn one, and lost two games under the tutelage of Whyte Ogbonda in the 2021 NWFL Premiership season.
Confluence Queens will start their journey without Coach Whyte Ogbonda on Wednesday when they welcome Delta Queens in their week six tie.
