OFTA of Kribi, Leopards Sportive and FAP represented the South region, Littoral and Center Region respectively in the last national play offs for promotion to the second tier of Cameroon Football.
Therefore the second tier of Cameroon Football will have 6 new clubs next season including the 3 clubs relegated from the top flight at the end of the 2018 season.
The 15 clubs championship will be animated this season by the many derbies most especially the West Region derby with 5 clubs from that part of the country in the league, the center region derby with 5 clubs too and why not a few Littoral derbies with 3 clubs involved and the remaining two from the northwest and South regions.
