Ivorian Football legend Yves Tebily Didier Drogba will be candidate in the upcoming Ivorian Football Federation, FIF, elections penciled for later this year.
The 42-year-old Chelsea legend officially submitted his documents for the elections this Saturday at the headquarters of the elections commission in Abidjan.
The submission of the document ends a topsy-turvy period for Ivory Coast all-time lead scorer whose quest to become the head of the country’s football Federation has met huge obstacles so far.

Drogba was earlier denied endorsement by his peers of the Ivorian Footballers Association sparking huge inquest from local and global media.
The former Olympique of Marseille forward later recieved the backing of the Referees association a fortnight ago.
Sory Diabaté and Sidy Diallo have also manifested interest in the top job but its unclear if they have deposited documents for the elections or not.
