French Women’s League two side ASPTT Albi is certain to be in the league two Championship next season. This comes after the French football federation declared that the clubs currently ranked 10th in group A and B of the championship OGC Nice and ASPTT Albi respectively will not be involved in the relegation playoffs as the French football federation has decided to end the current season without the playoffs.
Therefore Cameroonian duo Ada Jacquette and Francine Zouga on the books of the club will have to forget the troubles of the relegation battle and calmly prepare for next season with hopes of avoiding the scenario this season.
The decision of Friday 18th April leaves President Bernard Espié and his administration will have to focus on better recruitment ahead of their fourth season in the French second tier women’s championship.
Zouga has been on the books of the club in the last two seasons while Ada Jacquette only joined the Albi club in this January. Both Lionesses and their club mates have been in confinement since all football activities were suspended in France on March 15th following the outbreak of the CoronaVirus.
