Swedish top-flight giants Malmo have completed signing 18-year old Cameroon international awaiting debut Junior Samuel Kotto from Cameroon elite talent producers APEJES of Mfou, kick442.com has learned.
The defender who has been invited to the senior national selection of Cameroon on not less than three occasions who is considered a need by officials of Malmö FF has agreed terms with the club. He was unveiled this Wednesday in Sweden after medicals and other formalities.
Once an Under-20 international,Kotto enjoyed a brilliant debut season on the books of the Center Region outfit Apejes and in the top-flight Championship thus attracting a move abroad.
The goal-scoring defender who scored four goals in 18 appearances this season for APEJES of Mfou was a part of the Cameroon Under-20 team that participated in the 2021 Under-20 AFCON tournament in Mauritania.
Malmö FF are current champions of Sweden Eliteserien League but want their defensive problems of last season sorted by Kotto going into the new season in domestic competitions and the UEFA champions league.
A switch to Europe is a massive feat for TAD Sports Academy and just like APEJES of Mfou as he add to the long list of exports from both clubs.
