45_year_old tactician Toguem Jean Baptiste, has penned a two_years deal to become the new head coach of Elite two side Rangers FC of Bafut.
The tactician put pen to paper on Thursday, during a meeting with officials of the North West based club.
Kick442.com had reported on Wednesday evening that both parties were close to reaching an agreement, and now it is official that the former PWD gaffer, with take over from where Frankline Anumewa left.
The club has spend barely two days without a coach, after their lead trainer for the past two seasons Frankline Anumewa, was announced on Tuesday as new assistant coach of Elite one side, Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda.
“We have this day agreed a 2 year deal with an option of extension with experienced lead trainer Toguem Jean Baptiste,” the club wrote via their Facebook page.
“He joins the teams ambitious Visionary plan of a possible deep dive into Elite 1,” they added.
The former PWD of Bamenda gaffer spend last season with North West Regional league side Rainbow FC of Bamenda, where he helped the team reached the finals of the Regional league, where they were edge one_nil by Hilltop Strikers.
Toguem brings in lots of experience to the technical bench of Rangers FC, who are preparing for their second season in the Elite two championship. Toguem Jean Baptiste helped PWD Social Football club of Bamenda to return to the top flight in the 2017_2018 season, and will be expected to attempt another feet with Rangers, who narrowly missed out of a playoff place last season, finishing third in Pool A, behind Leopard of Douala and Aigle Royal of the Menoua.
